According to Famitsu come December 5 lucky gamers in Japan will get to try out a Resident Evil 5 demo. Word is that players will get access to 2 levels which will be playable either offline or online with a friend. Capcom later confirmed that US gamers would also be receiving the demo but didn't state when.

Joystiq recently revealed that the Assassin's Creed sequel has been confirmed, you can check out the original post here. Though the game has been confirmed there have yet to be any solid confirmations of a release date. Giantbomb later got wind that the sequel may be taking place in a new era and speculation is that it could take place during the French Revolution.
