The Hurt Locker Wins! (And made some blue boys blue)

Well, if you haven’t heard the 82nd Annual Academy Awards took place and the low-key indie war flick The Hurt Locker came out as the big winner of the night. Not only it won the Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture honors, its director Kathryn Bigelow became the first-ever woman to win the Best Director award. The the main competition that she beat was James Cameron, who happens to be her ex-husband.

Take that Jimmy boy!

Man, take about getting the blues. Cameron’s big-budget, big-earning film lost out on the big awards. I enjoyed Avatar but I do feel that The Hurt Locker is quite a deserving masterpiece of a film. If you haven’t seen it? Go check it out. I got the trailer added below.
